Eyes is an assistive product system developed around the everyday challenges of older adults with total blindness, including limited mobility, repetitive routines and disrupted sleep. The concept combines a wearable bracelet with two home-based devices to support greater autonomy across rest, movement and everyday household activities.
The interconnected devices distribute support across different domestic contexts: a bedroom unit uses sensory cues to structure daily rhythms, while a living-room and kitchen unit works with the bracelet and environmental sensing to support orientation and household tasks. 3D modelling, prototyping and scenario-based film documentation translate the system into a tangible vision of more accessible independent living.
